Dakota Johnson launched Calvin Klein’s Spring 2026 campaign on March 9 in New York, making her debut for the brand as the company rolled out new denim and underwear advertising across retail stores, digital channels and outdoor placements. The campaign went live globally on Monday across Calvin Klein retail, calvinklein.com and social platforms, with additional out-of-home placements. Calvin Klein said the images and video were directed and photographed by Gordon von Steiner and follow Johnson through “a relaxing day at home, away from the spotlight” to showcase new Ultralight and Icon Cotton Modal underwear, the Perfectly Fit Ultralight Bra, and three denim pieces led by the Baggy Jean. Dakota Johnson In the company’s announcement, Johnson said, “Calvin Klein jeans and underwear have a timeless quality that makes everything feel right the moment you put them on.” She added that the campaign was meant to reflect being “comfortable, free and sexy on your own terms.” Johnson struck a similar note in an interview published Monday, saying, “I’m at a place in my womanhood where I feel quite calm and centered.” She said the laid-back tone of the denim and underwear shoot matched where she is now and described feeling “very comfortable” in her body. The release gives Johnson a fresh fashion campaign at a moment when Calvin Klein is leaning again on its stripped-down visual identity. For Johnson, it adds a new commercial role tied less to a film release than to brand image, with the campaign built around ease, sensuality and the company’s long-running denim-and-underwear formula.
